Important - Read this first
A database reset will cause the register will be down for 10-15 minutes, so this should either be done in the morning before opening, or while it is slow enough that you can get by without using it. You will also need to make sure you have your Franpos account and password.
Database Reset Steps
- Close the drawer on the register
- Press the sync button and let the register sync completely
- Press the ( i ) button in the top left corner
- Press diagnostics
- Press reset database. DO NOT CLICK "Reset User Settings." ONLY "RESET DATABASE"!
- This will log you out of Franpos. Log back in and select your location from the list if prompted
- Let the register finish syncing (will take about 10 minutes)
- If you are resetting because the register was not printing QR codes, try printing a receipt again to confirm that it is fixed. If it still does not work, contact the IT helpdesk.
What if I don't know my Franpos password?
If you forgot your Franpos password, you can reset it by clicking the "Forgot your password?" link on this page:
https://my.franpos.com/User/SignIn
The email should just be your store email address ( i.e. storename@runza.com). Once you do this, it will send you an email with a link to set a new password.
