Daily Prep Visibility on the Dashboard
The dashboard will display an “Incomplete Daily Prep” task for any previous dates where a Daily Prep transaction was started but not completed.
- This means users will see a reminder on the dashboard only if there is an incomplete Daily Prep for a previous date.
- There is no documented setting to force a Daily Prep task to appear on the dashboard each day as a proactive reminder before any transaction is started.
- The dashboard does not provide a direct daily link to start a new Daily Prep unless an incomplete one exists.
Staffing Level Templates
- Staffing level templates are not directly linked to Daily Prep transactions.
- Templates in Daily Prep are used to filter which recipes appear during the prep process, but do not control dashboard reminders.
Recommended Approach
- To ensure visibility, encourage users to start the Daily Prep transaction early in the day. If left incomplete, it will appear as a task on the dashboard until finalized.
- There is no configuration to automatically display a daily clickable reminder for Daily Prep on the dashboard before any action is taken.
